It’s season again in San Antonio!  Don’t forget your Fiesta Fruit Popcorn for those  celebrations!  We have started producing double our usual quantities of this very popular flavor.  Our pocket popcorn order board is almost full (but always room for more….) so if ur needing the individual size get ur order in now!  And remember we will have that gorgeous Fiesta custom label on each bag!  Don’t forget to request our Fiesta Facts Kernels of Wisdom!

Papa Dean’s Fiesta Medals are here!

Yep, that’s right, it’s finally perfected!  We believe we have the most original looking, best textured, most remarkable flavored Barbeque popcorn EVER!!!!!  We just have one little bitty problem…. We don’t know what to call it!  Yea, we could call it the obvious, Barbeque – but oh, how boring!!!!  You know us, there’s nothin’ boring about us or Papa Dean’s Popcorn!  So stop by or email us on-line and give us your suggestions!  If we use it as our final name you will win a 2 gallon tin of any flavor you choose! 

Okay we were minding our popcorn business two weeks ago, and the phone rang.  Not unusual of course; however on the other end was the corporate headquarters of our favorite cosmetic company (in New York City) calling about our popcorn!  OMG, we were all in a tizzy as M.A.C. Lip Glass is like the most fabulous lip gloss a cowgirl can wear – and Tara and Katherine “wear it well”!  Chef Zoe, it appeared was talking to the marketing director’s assistant about possibly have our popcorn distributed through the US, Canada at the launch of a brand new lip product called “Heatherette.”  One of the Heatherette lipstick flavors tastes like Bubble Gum therefore M.A.C. wanted our Pink Bubble Gum Popcorn and they wanted it NOW! As you can imagine, we all were buckin’ happy ‘round here.  Long story short,  M.A.C. Cosmetics ordered 465 pounds of our Bubble Gum popcorn and it was shipped to 35 locations!  They had the most awesome idea also, as it was to be displayed in Martini glasses and every customer who came in those 35 M.A.C. stores would be served one up!  Hey, just like Papa Dean’s Popcorn Bar Popcorn shots!  OMG, again!!!!  Okay we’re not done yet…. Also the marketing director ordered 50 Pocket Popcorn size to be distributed in their office did I mention in NEW YORK CITY????  Below is the label that we came up with for the corporate office’s pocket size Heatherette pockets!  Oh what fun this was for “Team Papa” and now we are kinda famous – at least that’s what we’re convincing ourselves!  All you Cowgirl Glams, go out and buy the new Heatherette lip cover!  It goes famously while eating our Bubble Gum popcorn!

“Popcorn   Makes  You   Popular”

It’s a Popcorn Bar thing ……….You all know when its crazy “poppin” busy in here it’s both fun as a day trip to Bandera, but oft’ times the bar is full and so it goes….. Last Saturday during one of those times, a couple of  our favorite customers, Sandra and her Mom popped in.  Well Tara and Piper were hustling around with other customers when Sandra said “Hey do you want us to help?”  The answer was a resounding YEP – because Sandra and her Mom totally know their way around Papa Dean’s Popcorn Bar.  Well, B4 ya could lasso the next calf Sandra had taken charge of about 3 customers who were waiting sweetly and she had them poppin’ with our popcorn shots (that’s what we call our sample for those who don’t know)….  She was totally holdin’ down the ranch.  Even the customers commented on her great service and even more outstanding personality!  Thanks Sandra and Mom – we love our fans and we love you!
